DUBAI SAFARI PARK TO REOPEN WITH ZIPLINE AND BUNGEE JUMP NEXT SEASON

A zipline and bungee jump are set to open at Dubai Safari Park next season. The UAE’s largest zoo, which has around 3,200 animals and birds, shut at the end of May for summer. And when it reopens in September, it is hoped that the new attractions, which also include a party area and a splash zone for kids, will be ready for visitors. Dubai Safari Park spans 119 hectares, and comprises three main villages – the African, Asian, and Explorer. There is also an Arabian Desert Safari tour. Animals on site include rare species such as the Komodo dragon, spiral-horned antelope, Arabian oryx, coloured African wild dog, gorilla, gibbon, bongo, and lemur. It reopened in October 2020 after two years of renovations, with the addition of new activities, such as animal feeding and educational and awareness programmes. New animals were also added to the wildlife park, including African elephants and giraffes.
