A BRAND-NEW WATERFRONT MARKET IS OPENING IN DUBAI'S DEIRA

The bustling area in 'old Dubai' is home to several markets and shops, authentic coffee shops, old-school souks, and some of the best cheap eats in the city - and now it will soon be home to an all-new waterfront market. Located at Deira Islands near Mina Rashid, Mina Al Hamriya and Deira Wharfage, Souk Al Marfa will stretch 1.9 kilometres along the waterfront and house around 2,500 shops, stalls and pavilions. In partnership with DP World, the soon-to-open market is from master developer Nakheel and it's all set to open this April. Souk Al Marfa will operate as a centralised one-stop-shop in Deira providing affordable growth opportunities to traders, including 100 percent foreign ownership, logistical ease amenities such as warehousing, and showrooms.
