RESIDENTIAL WATER PARK: LAYAN PROJECT IN BAHRAIN

The Layan Project is a residential development located on the southeast coast of Bahrain. “Nestled amidst the serenity of one of the most desirable locations” in the country. The new residential complex is part of the Durrat Marina, an iconic $1.3 billion waterfront creation. Amusement Logic has designed and integrated the spectacular Layan water park into archictecture that “evokes the fluidity of the waves of the sea’. It harmoniously integrates a slides area called Banna Forest, a family area or Bamboo Forest, with children’s attractions, a wave pool which the project refers to as Palm Beach, an activity and adventure area, or Rainforest, and a relaxation area with jacuzzis, or Deep Jungle. A lazy river, a surf simulator, as well as the usual service facilities such as the entrance and ticket office, changing rooms and a commercial space for shops or a restaurant area and a swim-up bar, along with technical rooms, offices, etc., complete the water park.
