IFLY ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH QUEST IN QATAR

SkyVenture to bring GEN 9 indoor skydiving tunnel to Qatar’s first indoor theme park iFLY, a world leader in indoor skydiving tunnels, has entered into a new partnership with Quest, Qatar’s first-ever indoor theme park. Quest is located within Doha Oasis, a mixed-use development in Msheireb Downtown Doha. The brand-new 32,000-square-metre indoor theme park opened to the public last summer and includes over 40 rides and attractions. Visitors can enjoy a mix of thrill rides, media-controlled simulators, virtual reality (VR) experiences and family-friendly offerings. It is also home to EpiQ Coaster, the world’s tallest indoor roller coaster, and Magma Blast, the world’s tallest indoor drop tower ride. SkyVenture, the creator of iFLY, will be supplying Quest with state of the art, GEN 9 technology in a 10.5’ wind tunnel. The tunnel’s design is compact and power-efficient, meaning it can fit within the existing operating theme park. As a result, there will be no need for any deep digging and the project also requires very few structural steel changes, all of which will be above ground. Source : blooloop
