INTAMIN DELIVERS THE STORM COASTER TO DUBAI

Guests will be transported from shopping mall to the eye of the storm in a thrilling experience. Intamin, a creator of record-breaking amusement rides and a regular DEAL exhibitor , has announced the installation of a first of its kind indoor rollercoaster which was revealed by operators Emaar Entertainment on 17 February 2022. Located at the UAE’s new Dubai Hills Mall, the installation utilises Intamin’s most powerful LSM drive system to propel guests at speeds of up to 77 kilometres per hour. Integrated directly into the building’s structure, the new construction has been developed to push the boundaries of engineering planning and design. The unique experience is designed to immerse guests in the perilous and exciting world of storm chasing, in a completely safe environment. The landmark feature of the action-packed coaster is a fifty meter-tall vertical launch, shooting riders towards the ceiling of the shopping centre. The track’s course delivers an array of airtime experiences, speed changes, unexpected accelerations and a particularly steep drop throughout its 670 meters length. The Storm Coaster wraps around the entire building’s shell, with a layout that the ride manufacturer says “will surely delight all thrill-seekers". Source : blooloop
