ABU DHABI OPENING TEAMLAB PHENOMENA ART EXPERIENCE ON SAADIYAT ISLAND

Japanese art collective teamLab has revealed the design for teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi, a permanent venue for immersive digital art on Saadiyat Island. teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi will be a “home for infinity curiosity”, according to a news release. It will feature art installations that are unique to Abu Dhabi and explore teamLab’s new concept of “environmental phenomena”. To develop the attraction, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has partnered with Miral. Construction is expected to be completed in 2024. teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi joins the Louvre Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island, as well as the upcoming Zayed National Museum, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi.
