ASI TO HANDLE PARADROP VR

Just a few days before the big Dubai exhibition gets under-way, it has been announced that Frontgrid, the developer of the Paradrop VR experience, has nominated ASI as its official distributor. Amusement Services International, headed by Prakash Vivekanand, will have the device on its stand at Hall 6 at the World Trade Centre next week during the DEAL show (March 28-30). The Welsh-based developer has had considerable success with Paradrop, a parachute attraction with VR technology. ASI will represent the company in Bahrain, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and North African countries. Paradrop VR is already operating in 11 countries internationally. The latest version of the devcie is the Paradrop VR Pod, which is attendant-free and immediately applicable to FECs. Vivekanand said: “Unlike any other sports-based virtual reality game, Paradrop VR offers users a remarkably realistic immersion of a parachuting experience and our expectations in terms of player entertainment, experience, engagement, and interaction. "A Paradrop VR installation in Dubai has already proved to be very popular among players, generates brilliant revenue and the competitive skill-based nature of game-play results in a high level of repeat play.” Source : Intergame
