SEAWORLD COMING TO ABU DHABI IN 2023

The project which has reached 90 percent completion will be the UAE’s first dedicated marine research, rescue, rehabilitation and return centre. Abu Dhabi’s leading creator of immersive destinations and experiences, Miral, in partnership with SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, announced it has reached 90 percent construction completion of the marine-life theme park – SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. The new development is set to open in 2023, in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. This will be the UAE’s first dedicated marine research, rescue, rehabilitation and return centre. The research and rescue centre is set to open this year, located next to the marine-life theme park. The focus will be on indigenous Arabian Gulf and marine life ecosystems while supporting regional and global conservation efforts. SeaWorld will be led by a team of marine scientists, veterinarians, animal care professionals, rescue experts and educators in collaboration with environmental organisations, regulators and academic institutions.
