ASTRONAUT NAMIRA SALIM REVEALS CONCEPT FOR EARTH'S FIRST 'SPACE HOTEL' AND RESORT

Private astronaut and space diplomat Namira Salim has revealed plans to develop a new space tourism and resort franchise concept. Called 0G Resort, the immersive destination capitalises on the continued trend for space tourism, which generated US$348bn (€320bn, £274bn) in revenue in 2022 alone. It will feature the “first space hotel on Earth” and will include several luxury hotel accommodations including beachfront villas, sea-facing apartments and rooms. The concept also includes space-themed restaurants, a stargazing deck, modular space elements, shisha bars and nightclubs as well as the possibility of a theme park. The first resort is planned to launch in the UAE with Salim currently seeking investment and possible locations for the project in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Source: Planet Attractions
