OMAN: $4.9BLN TOTAL REVENUES FROM TOURISM SECTOR IN 2022

His Excellency Salem bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, confirmed that the tourism sector in the Sultanate of Oman is witnessing steady growth in all fields, expressing his hope that the tourism sector�s contribution to the gross domestic product will reach 2.75 per cent during the next two years, compared to 2.4 per cent by the end of 2022. His Excellency said in a statement to the Oman News Agency that the contribution of the Omani tourism sector to the gross domestic product amounted to OMR 1.07 billion in 2022 out of total revenues amounting to OMR 1.9 billion in the same year.
