Work on the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island is 65 percent complete, Miral and DCT Abu Dhabi have confirmed. When construction is finished by the end of 2025, the new 35,000-square-foot museum will be the largest of its kind in the region. Via a press release from DCT Abu Dhabi, the Emirate‘s culture and tourism department, structural works are largely done. Next, work will begin on the installation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, as well as the building fit-out and exhibition design. At the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, visitors will embark on a 13.8-billion-year journey through time and space. They will see exceptional specimens and significant artefacts. The new museum will join the Louvre Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island, as well as upcoming cultural spaces like the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, the Zayed National Museum, and teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi.
