Dubai Golf has launched its second simulated sports entertainment centre powered by BatFast, the immersive sports simulator technology provider, at Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, UAE. The new augmented reality cricket venue, Wikit, features BatFast’s augmented reality cricket simulators to what the company described as “one of the city’s most iconic leisure destinations,” and will provide tech-enhanced cricket entertainment to players across all ages and skill levels. “We’re thrilled to see the launch of Wikit in Dubai,” said Navdeep Sethi, BatFast’s chief operating officer. “Emirates Golf Club is a world-renowned venue, and through our partnership with Dubai Golf we are delivering an accessible, fun and premium social experience.” Wikit’s new venue is home to three BatFast-powered cages, which combine physical batting with virtual bowlers and live scoring. The patented technology delivers “a dynamic and inclusive gameplay experience,” according to the company.
