ABU DHABI’S TOURISM SECTOR SOARS WITH 26 PC RISE IN INTERNATIONAL VISITORS

 Abu Dhabi’s tourism soars with a 26% rise in hotel guests, welcoming nearly 5 million visitors in 2024’s first ten months, showcasing its global appeal. The UAE capital welcomed close to five million visitors during this period, according to the latest data released by the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) Abu Dhabi. Aligned with its ambitious Tourism Strategy 2030, Abu Dhabi aims to draw 39.3 million visitors annually, create 178,000 new jobs within the tourism sector, and contribute AED 90 billion (USD 24.49 billion) to the GDP by the end of the decade. To support this vision, the emirate has allocated AED 36.72 billion (USD 10 billion) for infrastructure enhancement, setting the stage for robust growth in the years to come.
