HUGE OMAN ZIP-LINE NEARS COMPLETION

The construction of the largest zip-line in Oman is more than half way to completion, developers have announced. Musandam Zipline, which will feature two 1,800m lines, starts at Jebel Fitt and flies over the beautiful landscapes of the Mokhi area and the coast at Wilayat before coming to a stop at the soon-to-open Atana Khasab Hotel. More than 65 per cent of the course is now complete on the project, which it’s hoped will attract more tourists to the region. Speaking to the Muscat Daily, Nofal bin Mohammad Al Kamzari, assistant director to the Heritage and Tourism Department in Musandam Governorate, said that it would be a distinctive addition to the area.
